How to take this course
Welcome and congratulations on starting this course and the journey to a better life. Bipolar IN Order is an 8 step program. Throughout the course you will focus on each particular step on a weekly basis for 8 weeks.
Please follow the laid out sequence of the steps for your benefit. Here is what the weekly schedule looks like:
Week 1: Step 1-The Bipolar IN Order Formula For Success
Week 2: Step 2-Introspection
Week 3: Step 3-Finding Your Most Productive Zone
Week 4: Step 4-Tools To Lower The Intensity of Your State
Week 5: Step 5-IN Order vs Dis-Order
Week 6: Step 6-Accounting For Time
Week 7: Step 7-Turning Your State To You Advantage
Week 8: Step 8-Tracking Your Progress
Once you complete the first four weeks you should be well on your way. If for whatever reason finishing all of the content on a particular step is taking you longer than a week, then do not stress. It is important to emphasize the value of taking your time to throughly go through the material. Just focus on finishing all of the content on that particular step before moving on to the other.
Within each particular step you will find daily course content. Do your best to finish all video, reading and written assignments for that day. Doing so will better prepare you to gain a deeper understanding of all the concepts. All the 8 steps work together and build up to the whole solution. This is why it is important to throughly go through the material on each step before getting ahead.
Once you complete the first 8 weeks you should then pick what you find most interesting from the supplemental courses until you have completed all of them.
Please do not make the mistake of thinking that Bipolar IN Order is about letting our states run wild or that it is about stopping your medications or anything else that you use to moderate your states. Nothing is further from the truth. Doing so is incredibly dangerous and against everything that Bipolar IN Order is about. As you will learn in the next steps, Bipolar IN Order is about doing the work to address all 8 steps in the safest and most effective way.
Step 1 The Formula For Success
The Formula For Success step is about getting an overview of how all the steps work together. It prepares you so you will be able to do the other steps with the perspective of how each particular step fits into the whole solution.
Step 2 Introspection
Introspection is an important element in putting Bipolar IN Order instead of leaving it in "disorder." This step will help you develop a healthy Introspection practice. It is designed to help you focus on the changes you want to bring about by giving you a daily summary of your progress.
Step 3 Finding Your Most Productive Zone
Bipolar IN Order uses a revolutionary system that categorizes the various intensities of your states.The objective in this step is to help you develop a high level of awareness for three zones of intensity as well as how various aspects of your states fit into each category.
Step 4 Tools To Lower The Intensity Of Your States
In this step you will focus on building a tool inventory for the times when taking steps to lower the intensity of your experience is the best option. While other programs are about reducing symptoms in hope of permanent remission. Bipolar IN Order focuses on helping you learn how to function while experiencing the states that once drove you to dis-order.
Step 5 IN Order vs DIS-Order
How we behave is critical to our success in the world. And if you want people to believe that you have Bipolar IN Order, then you have to act like it. In this step you will create an inventory of your good and bad behaviors. This will go a long way towards getting others to stop treating you like there is something wrong with you or something to be afraid of.
Being responsible for our behaviors is the foundation of all spiritual paths. And also what makes society work. Our behavior is inherently linked to our success in life. If we focus on improving our own behaviors, our relationships, careers, and all the other aspects of our lives will work better.
Step 6 Accounting For Time
Bipolar IN Order takes a completely different approach to time than other solutions. Since the scientific consensus is that permanent remission is not possible, we seek to extend the time that we can stay in order during mania and depression. We also strive to stay IN Order in the full range that we are likely to experience. It takes a completely different approach to time to accomplish those goals, but the outcome is far superior; we no longer experience bipolar as a disorder in our lives. In this step you will gain the confidence that you don’t have to panic and get rid of a state right away.
Step 7 Turning Your State to Your Advantage
What is the advantage of having a high-performance race car if you don't know how to drive it? If all you did was crash every time you got behind the wheel you would probably conclude that it was a disadvantage to have it and be miserable every time you got in it.
It is the same with mania and depression. The advantages are in the same state as the disadvantages. You don't change the state to find the advantage, you change the way you see it and how you respond to it. This step helps you put that concept into context.
Step 8 Tracking Your Progress
Bipolar IN Order is not about making Bipolar go away. It is about functioning and thriving during mania and depression. In this step you will learn about the functionality assessment and how to use it to measure success for bipolar. The assessment measures overall functionality by evaluating your awareness, understanding, intensity, comfort, value, and time for both mania and depression. You will be able to identify where you are at and keep track of how much you have improved as compared to the last time you took the assessment.
