Equanimity or calmness when facing challenging situations comes from experience. This trait comes from controlling ones negative outbursts. If one can learn the art if controlling their temper nothing can bother their state of mind. Likewise, this tool is use by many who go through Depression and Mania and our studies have found positive results.
We have been studying how effective Equanimity is and have so far learned some very interesting things. While many people rave about the difference Equanimity has made, when we dig a little deeper we find that how one uses the tool has a major effect on how well it works.
